200mm Semiconductor Campus Start Up
Problem:
Client had a newly purchased campus from a former semiconductor company. Campus consisted of 7 buildings, covering over 38 acres. The client was not adequately staffed, in-house, to support existing operations and manage a new pilot line start up at a new location. Diamondback was asked to manage all design activities on this campus as required to get client’s new product pilot line installed and into qualification/production in 8 months to meet their market needs.
Solution:
Diamondback was able to successfully manage over 65 major infrastructure projects and 70 tool installations. Diamondback took ownership of Fab and Subfab tool layouts; POC Pre-assignment matrix; and Gap analysis efforts to quickly close any open issues to keep the project on schedule and under budget.
